This is a hand crafted arts and crafts style coat/hat rack. I got the idea for this while I was looking for some mission style office furniture. Stickley has one in their catalog, but it doesn't have much character and it uses round pegs. I modeled this after our hanging book shelf and used the design of the tenon keys from our Little Journeys table for the pegs. A simple piece with a clean design. The rack is made from solid quartersawn white oak, mortise and tenon construction and features a warm stain and hand rubbed finish. This is a hand made piece done in the trademark Stickley design made popular during the Art Nouveau/Mission era. No assembly line or automation involved. All materials are new. This piece was built to last and true heirloom quality. It is available in two sizes.
